I'm Tired Of Hearing Pushing Your Kids Is Bad

 Listen, all this talk nowadays about "don't push your children or they will resent you" is mostly bogus. Yes there are certain instances where if done incorrectly the child will resent you, but enough of this fallacy that urging your child to succeed is a problem. If the parenting is good enough and you can sit down with your own child and tell them why you are urging them to do the things they are doing, how could they ever resent you? Surely if the parents brain is in it as well then the child will grow up to see that striving for excellence is ALWAYS the better outcome.
