Living On Fire

 Listen, all this talk nowadays about "don't push your children or they will resent you" is mostly bogus. Yes there are certain instances where if done incorrectly the child will resent you, but enough of this fallacy that urging your child to succeed is a problem. If the parenting is good enough and you can sit down with your own child and tell them why you are urging them to do the things they are doing, how could they ever resent you? Surely if the parents brain is in it as well then the child will grow up to see that striving for excellence is ALWAYS the better outcome.

 Ok so here's the deal. It seems like, to me, no matter how hard some of us work that the days just keep flying by and no real leveraging actions that can be scaled get done. I think this is in part due to the fact that we are not networking hard enough. Think about it, had we of contacted 50+ people today on sites like LinkedIn or MeetUp would we not have at least one warm contact? That warm contact being finding someone who is trying to do the same thing as you, network and build? Even if you do not know them they still are aiming for similar goals. So what happens next? Well I believe your lethargy and suffering start to diminish for one thing. Brain storming has been engrained into us since high school, middle school even and taking that away from us in the real world is terrible. So all-in-all, the odds are once you network you will find new people with new opportunities and new potentials to build something and market it. You will even find people to fund your ideas and new p
